Hynes Industries Announces New CEO, Changes to Senior Leadership Team

Hynes Industries announced today that Chief Executive Officer D.R. Golding has decided to step aside, and current Vice President of Finance and Corporate Treasurer Jim Blair will succeed him as President and CEO effective April 1, 2014.

Jim Blair boasts seven years of experience at Hynes Industries and decades of experience in the metals industry. “Blair was the perfect choice to lead Hynes Industries into another decade of success,” said Golding. “His in-depth understanding of financial issues will help position Hynes for continued growth.” Golding will remain with Hynes Industries as Vice President — Strategic Development, and will also serve in an advisory role during the course of this planned transition.

In addition, Hynes Industries promoted two key members of its senior leadership team to new roles, as Mike Giambattista becomes Senior Vice President — Marketing & Sales and Pat Montana becomes Senior Vice President — Operations. Each has been with Hynes Industries for more than 25 years, and their new responsibilities reflect their essential leadership. Hynes Industries also welcomes Mark Cornman to the Senior Leadership team, who will serve as our new Director — Finance & Human Resources. Before joining Hynes, Mark worked at Canfield Metal Coating for 2 years and earned advanced degrees from Kent State University, Youngstown State University, and Walden University.
