The bulb portion of this dual durometer seal is foam, which can also have an extended lip. Its solid retainer section is easily pressed into place over any type of metal flange. Flexibility of this seal depends on the retainer configuration: wire core or segmented steel core. This versatile and popular seal can be found on all types of metal cabinets, doors, toolboxes, control boxes, truck bodies and construction equipment. It works well in any situation where there is a low to medium compression force. It is excellent choice for outdoor applications as it seals against air, water, dust and noise.
