Dual Durometer

As its name suggests, this type of seal is composed of a variety of durometers. Different hardness zones on a profile depend on the application for which it is needed. It could be a simple as one of our standard bulb trim seals with a 70 duro retainer and medium foam bulb, or a complicated profile requiring different colors or plastics.

Tooling costs are fairly high for custom, complex parts therefore requiring good volumes to undertake, however we also have a wide range of standard, in-stock dual durometers profiles.
