Main Steel is a leader in North America for protective solutions to the metals industry's problems. Working with our strategic partners, Main Tape and Nitto Denko America, protection problems are easily solved on a variety of metal surfaces, including stainless and aluminum.

Main Steel has a wide array of films that will perform in operations ranging from commercial bending and stamping to protectin on the surface of metal for a week or on an outdoor project for up to a year. Heat or foam applications are easily solved with films that pull cleanly leaving no residue on the surface.

Main Steel can also provide perforated films, either machine or cross direction, allowing a strip of film to be removed for welding, while the rest of the surface stays covered.

Working with Nitto Denko America, Main Steel helped to develop the premier laser film in the industry, Laserguard, which provides a clean, precise cut-through on the surface with no bubbling. This eliminates the need for etching and improves productivity on the lasers.

We also distribute Nitto Hyper Joint mounting tapes which are used in the truck trailer industry to eliminate the need for tac or butt welds during fabrication.
