SWVA, Inc. (doing business as Steel of West Virginia, Inc.) produces special shapes that are used as mast sections and hanger bars in several different classes of industrial lift trucks.
Masts are made from special channels in combination with special I beams, J Bars, or offset J Bars. Close tolerances and straightness are achieved with these special sections that allow the equipment to function effectively in a full loaded and extended condition.
In addition to masts, we produce specially shaped fork hanger bars used in the lift truck industry. There are critical surface and tolerance requirements for fork attachments that these special shapes are designed to meet.
