About Steel of West Virginia
  • STEEL OF WEST VIRGINIA produces structural beams, channels, flats, & special shape steel sections. We customize production to specific needs in chemistry, dimensions & fabrication. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Steel Dynamics, Inc., and are ISO 9001:2015 certified & ABS certified.

    Our steel sections are produced from electric furnace steel, continuously cast and hot rolled on highly specialized mills. We have extensive fabricating capabilities at our main location in Huntington, WV, where we produce crossmembers for the truck trailer & truck body industries. Our subsidiary, MARSHALL STEEL, INC., in Memphis, TN, also produces steel crossmembers.

    Crossmembers are available in various heights & profile weights. For repetitive items, these crossmembers can be customized to individual model specifications in terms of length, holes, welded end clips, & coatings. Standard grades are 60 ksi and 80 ksi minimum yield point; standard coatings are painted, waxed, or galvanized.
