Guardrail
SWVA, Inc. (doing business as Steel of West Virginia, Inc.) supplies the structural beams used as guardrail posts in the highway safety industry. These guardrail posts are driven into the ground at set intervals, and the corrugated guardrail is then attached.
Standard grades are ASTM A36, A36/A992 with restricted chemistry suitable for galvanizing, and A588. Standard sizes are 6" wide flange beams and 3" and 4" S beams.
